Geek Out!

Geek Out! is the first exhibition held by my art crew, Aeek.It’s an exhibition that explores what it means to geek out—to become deeply immersed in a subject or world—while questioning the boundaries between the mainstream and the unconventional. Conceived as a Geek Lab, the exhibition space functions as an experimental environment where questions are investigated rather than answered.

Five artists—Juseong Oh, Soonhan Kwon, Jonghoon Ahn, Hanbin Park, and Jihoon Lee—approach themes including popular culture and originality, science and technology, and the body and religion through their own distinctive perspectives. Their works intersect and diverge, revealing multiple ways of seeing and interpreting the world.

Developed for the artist collective AEEK (Art + Geek), the exhibition identity translates the concept of the Geek Lab into a cohesive visual system. Through typography, spatial graphics, and exhibition materials, the project invites viewers to reconsider how we define normality, judge others, and engage with contemporary art.
